What better way to celebrate than with a Perfetto Lemon & Earl Grey sour!
Start by making the Earl Grey syrup:
250g granulated sugar
2 tablespoons earl grey tea or two tea bags
Add sugar and water to a saucepan and bring to a low simmer. Add two tea bags and allow tea to steep while the sugar dissolves in the boiling water.
Remove the pan from heat and let tea bags steep for another 5-10 minutes (the longer it steeps, the stronger the tea flavour).
Remove the tea bags and let the syrup cool, then store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
And now for the cocktail!!
50ml Perfetto Lemon
25ml Lemon juice
25ml Earl grey syrup (see above)
25ml Egg white
Add ice then all ingredients to a shaker, shake for 45 seconds (or until the sound changes!)
Strain into a glass, garnish with lemon peel twist.
