Hooray for World Pasta Day 2022!

You can cook with Gin?? Oh yes, you can! With all of its complex flavour, numerous botanicals and versatility, Gin makes an excellent cooking ingredient - and not just in a Gin & Tonic when prepping lunch!

Its World Pasta Day on 25th October, and this year we are celebrating by making a pasta with jazzed up lemony pesto recipe!

Simple and super zesty. Serve with a green salad and a glass of Perfetto Lemon & tonic of course!

Ready in 20 minutes

Serves 2


  • 200g tagliatelle (or whatever pasta you prefer!)

  • 75g good quality basil pesto

  • 60ml Perfetto Lemon Gin

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • 3tbsp chopped fresh basil


  1. Set a large pot of salted water over high heat and bring to a boil

  2. Add the tagliatelle and cook to packet instructions, until slightly al dente

  3. Drain the pasta and add pesto and lemon Perfetto

  4. Stir well to coat everything

  5. Serve with sprinkled torn basil leaves
